Daniel Gillen, AIA believes that design should be performative and poetic. With large scale cultural, mixed use, high-rise, and residential experience, Daniel brings design excellence to all project typologies. To meet advancing environmental and client needs, he believes in the integration of a collaborative and computational design methodology. Through his experience in the US, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Daniel understands the importance of geographic and cultural qualities that link building to place.

Daniel is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has taught at Tsinghua University in Beijing, the Architectural Association, and IIT, among others. He is a licensed architect in New York, Illinois, and Virginia and a LEED accredited professional. Prior to joining JAHN, Daniel led the design, team, and execution of high-profile projects with MAD architects and Skidmore Owings Merrill.
