Jahn extends our congratulations to our partner, O2 Design, for receiving two ASLA Honor Awards and a President’s Award in General Design for our 40-acre Pritzker Military Archives Center project in Somers, Wisconsin. This landscape design marks the first phase of a transformative 283-acre development, supporting the institution’s vision for a world-class museum campus that deepens public appreciation for military history.

Prioritizing ecological restoration, sustainability, and community benefits, the design embodies military discipline through a simple, orderly layout and meaningful material selection, creating a profound visitor experience. Led by O2’s landscape architects, the project’s artistic and functional landforms reflect its commitment to sustainable practices. Its success inspired the institution to relocate fully to the campus, solidifying its environmental, cultural, and institutional legacy.

Congratulations to all of our fellow ASLA Minnesota award winners. Read more about the award here.
